Michael Bay Reveals the New Custom-Built Bumblebee Camaro for TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KINGHT
Over the weekend, director Michael Bay revealed Bumblebee's slick new look in Transformers: The Last Knight. This is a custom-built 2016 Camaro from General Motors. The character has gotten a new car design for every film, and as cool as this one is, I'm still waiting for the day we see him go back to the Volkswagon Bug look, because it'd be pretty damn funny.
Bumblebee is a fan-favorite character in the franchise, and he's scheduled to get his own solo film in 2018. I imagine The Last Knight will help set up that storyline. My expectations for these upcoming Transformers films are low. I'm not expecting them to be much better than what we've already seen. Regardless of the mediocrity of these films, they still make a ridiculous amount of money, which is why Paramount Pictures will keep making them.
The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, Isabela Moner (100 Things to Do Before High School) as the film’s female lead, Izabella, and Jerrod Carmichael (Neighbors) in an unspecified leading role. Sir Anthony Hopkins also recently joined the film, and I'm really hoping that he will provide the voice of Unicron.
The movie is set to be released on June 23rd, 2017. What do you think of Bumblebee's new look?
