More Luke Skywalker Character Info on STAR WARS: EPISODE VII
Before we begin, I want to throw out a SPOILER warning, but I will tell you that in this article I'm not going to post the big bad twist ending that has been making the rounds. There is new information that has surfaced on that, though, if you want to possibly ruin the ending of the movie for yourself. But like I said, I'm not going to post that here.
What I do want to talk about is a little bit of new information revealed about the character Luke Skywalker, and his role in the story that Star Wars: Episode VII will tell. The news comes from Making Star Wars, who explain that over the years Luke has become the most powerful Jedi ever to exist. Apparently, he's so powerful that he’s scared of what he is capable of. It's that power and the power of the dark side that forces him to go into hiding. He hasn’t been captured by anyone, but he will play a major role in the story.
This is actually one of my favorite things that I've heard about the film. I love that fact that Luke could be the most powerful Jedi ever, and it will be awesome to see how he displays that power. As a side note, it's been confirmed that the teaser trailer for the film is completed and ready to go. That news comes from Jordan Maison of Cine Linx, who said in a tweet:
So, #StarWarsVII trailer...yeah. It's cut and in existence already.
