New Animated VIXEN Series Will Be Set In ARROW Universe
There's a new superhero animated series coming to CW Seed called Vixen, which will be set in the same universe as CW's Arrow and The Flash. The show will include appearances by both of the main heroes, and it's being developed by Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim. The news was announced at the Television Critic’s Association press tour yesterday.
Vixen, a.k.a. Mari McCabe, is a superhero who is an orphan from Africa. Her parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and shameless violence. She inherited her family's Tantu Totem, and with it, she can access the powers of animals - from the super-strength of a gorilla, to the speed of a cheetah. The hero fights to protect the world from evil threats, the same threats that claimed the lives of her family.
