New JASON BOURNE TV Spot Reveals New Info on His Dad and the Past

These TV spots for the upcoming Jason Bourne movie just seem to be getting more and more revealing. This newest spot actually sheds some light on Bourne’s past, specifically his dad. I’m going to throw up a SPOILER warning just in case you don’t want to learn any more than that.

Judging from what I'm seeing in the clip, Tommy Lee Jones' CIA director is kind of a villain who had Bourne's father killed. It was this tragedy that took Bourne down the road of volunteering for the agent program in the first place. This is definitely a big piece of info to reveal, and I'm surprised they didn't let people wait to see the movie to find it out.

This is an intense preview, though, and Bourne is on the hunt for truth, justice, and revenge. The movie hits theaters on July 29th, 2016.

The Paul Greengrass-directed film stars Matt Damon, Christopher Rouse, Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, and Vincent Cassel.
