New Photo from the POWER RANGERS Movie Shows Our Heroes Unmasked

We’ve got a brand new photo from the new Power Rangers movie for you to check out today that features the heroes of the stories wearing their costumes but unmasked. My first thought when I saw the photo was, "Whoa! They look more like the Silverhawks than they do Power Rangers!” I’m not saying that in a bad way, it’s just an observation, and I would love to see the Silverhawks movie get made. Anyway, the costumes look interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing what the characters look like in action. I suspect we’ll get our first look at some footage at Comic-Con later this week.

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

The Rangers you see here include Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger, and Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger. Elizabeth Banks also stars in the movie as the main villain Rita Repulsa and Bryan Cranston is playing Zordon.

The Power Rangers will jump into action when the movie is released on March 24th, 2017.
