New Trailer for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES - "Are All Pirates This Stupid?"
Disney has released a new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and it features a few bits of new footage from the upcoming film. I know a lot of people seem to be tired of these Pirates movies, but it has to be seen if this next chapter will be good or bad. I hope it's good for the sake of the directors that made it, Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning, who won me over with their film Kon-Tiki, which was wonderful.
Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
Depp and Bardem are joined by Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, and Stephen Graham as Scrum. Newcomers include Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner), Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent), and Golshifteh Farahani (Exodus: Gods and Kings).
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters on May 26th, 2017.
