New TV Spot and Poster for Jake Gyllenhaal's NIGHTCRAWLER

A new TV spot and poster has been released for Jake Gyllenhaal's unsettling new thriller Nightcrawler. The actor seems to have completely transformed himself into the shady character he plays in this story. This may be an incredibly dark film, but it looks great.

The story follows a character named Lou Bloom, "an ambitious young man desperate for work." While trying to find his calling in life he discovers the world of L.A. crime journalism. "When Lou learns of a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles his way into the dangerous realm of night crawling, where a police siren wail means a possible windfall, and victims are converted into dollars and cents. Aided by Nina, a local TV news veteran, Lou blurs the line between observer and participant."

The movie was written and directed by Dan Gilroy, and it also stars Bill Paxton, Rene Russo, and Riz Ahmed. The movie is set to be released on October 31st.

A new TV spot and poster is now online for the upcoming thriller, NIGHTCRAWLER.
