Newest POINT BREAK Trailer: This Movie Looks...Kind of Fun?

As a lover of Kathryn Bigelow's 1991 Point Break, I wasn't thrilled when they announced a remake was on the way. But — and I kind of hate to say this — I think this new trailer has changed my mind about the whole thing. The remake is so clearly ridiculous, incorporating global extreme sports into the equation under the guise of Bodhi's gang following spiritual teachings, that I now feel like it's edged back over the line into self-parody, and for me, that's much better than being uber-serious. I'm aware this could just be a nicely cut trailer that doesn't represent the final film, but if the movie has the tone of this trailer, I think I might actually end up really digging it. Let me know what you all think, and take a look at three more recently-released posters below.

The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways.
