Nightcrawler Almost Made It Into DAYS OF FUTURE PAST!
In awesome-that-it-almost-happened/sad-that-it-didn't news, Alan Cumming almost reprised his role as Nightcrawler in the upcoming X Men: Days of Future Past! Unfortunately, Cumming was unable to appear in the film, as he explains below.
“There was a time when it was maybe going to happen, but I wasn’t available so it didn’t happen. I really loved that film that I was in, don’t get me wrong, I thought it was a great film, but it wasn’t my favourite experience of my life.
All that being said, according to X Men Films Cummings said that if he was asked to return he said he would "give it a go."
Well hell, would've been awesome to see him involved, but what can you do? I kind of wish I knew why he didn't enjoy playing Nightcrawler. In my mind he's just as much that character as Hugh Jackman is Wolverine!
