NOCTURNAL ANIMALS Gets a Stylish, Star-Studded First Trailer

Here's the first trailer for Focus Features' Nocturnal Animals, a new thriller from A Single Man director (and fashion impresario) Tom Ford that's earned solid reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival. Featuring a star-studded cast including Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough, and Michael Sheen, the film is a "romantic thriller of shocking intimacy and gripping tension that explores the thin lines between love and cruelty, and revenge and redemption." It centers on a woman (Adams) who receives a book written by her ex-husband (Gyllenhaal) that's dedicated to her, in which she discovers dark truths about him and about herself.

This looks like a stylish, mysterious romantic thriller, and with a premise like that and the talent associated with this movie, I'd be all-in without even watching the trailer. But I did end up watching it, and it's made me even more excited to see the film. Nocturnal Animals hits limited theaters on November 18th and goes wide on December 9, 2016.
