Optimus Prime Fights Bumblebee in First Trailer for TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

The first trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight has blown up online, and this next chapter in the Transformers film franchise is definitely different from what we've seen in the previous movies. There are a lot of crazy different elements being thrown into this film like King Arthur, knights, and Nazis. Then there's the fact that Optimus Prime and Bumblebee get into a fight in this trailer! I have no idea what that's all about, but we'll see!

The film sees the return of Mark Wahlberg as inventor Cade Yeager, and as we previously learned, the sequel dives deep into the mythology of the Transformers and their home of Cybertron. We'll learn how they were created, where their story starts, and how they went from a slave-race to a sentient race. Judging by the different times in history that the film will explore, the human race will tie into the mythology.

The trailer has got everything you'd expect to see from a Michael Bay Transformers movie. It visually looks incredible. I just hope that they finally give fans a great story!

From what we know, the Transformers are being hunted down on Earth by the Transformers Reaction Force, which is being headed up by Santos (Santiago Cabrera) and Lennox (Josh Duhamel), and Yeager is in hiding or on the run. On his journey, he joins forces with couple new characters including Izabella (Isabela Moner) and Vivian (Laura Haddock).

The return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, genius inventor. The addition of Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins. And, for some reason, King Arthur and his knights. Because, hey, “less is more” has never been the Michael Bay way. Yep, he’s back too, despite swearing up and down after Age of Extinction that he would not return to direct another.

The movie also see's the return of John Turturro and Stanley Tucci. Transformers: The Last Knight will be released in theaters on June 23, 2017.

Prepare for Bayhem with the explosive first trailer for Paramount's Transformers: The Last Knight.
