Photos from the Set of Marvel's LUKE CAGE
Marvel's Luke Cage is currently in production and shooting in New York. Some photos from the set of the series feature Mike Colter as the title character have leaked. They also feature actor Frankie Faison (The Wire). There's no word on who Faison is actually playing in the series. There's a good chance that he could be playing “Pop,” but that remains to be seen. After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city–forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.
The series also stars Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, Theo Rossi as Shades, and Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, and Rosario Dawson reprises her role from Daredevil as Claire Temple.
The series is set to premiere in 2016.
