I seriously had no idea how many practical effects and miniature models were used in the development of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. A lot of people have made complaints over the years that there were not enough practical effects used in the making of the film, when in reality there were a ton, and there's a bunch of really cool pictures to prove it. Don't get me wrong. I'm still not a fan of the prequel trilogy, the practical effects don't make up for the crappy story, script and acting. Seeing these photos is still pretty awesome though. Thanks to /Film for the heads up on these. I hope you enjoy looking through the photos as much as I did.
