POLTERGEIST Remake Gets An Infographic And A New Clip
Like many of you, I feel like Sam Raimi and Gil Kenan's remake of Poltergeist doesn't really need to exist because the first one still holds up as a great movie. But I guess if you're going to remake a classic, there are much worse ways to do it than casting Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Jared Harris and having original producer Steven Spielberg return to serve as a producer this time around. I'm certainly not writing this one off before I check it out, and I'm going into it with the hope that it'll be able to carve out its own identity and be an interesting take on the 1982 horror thriller.
20th Century Fox and MGM have released a new clip from the film (via Yahoo), as well as in infographic that details the differences between poltergeists and other supernatural entities. Check them out below. Poltergeist arrives in theaters on May 22nd.
