Potentially Leaked Art for SONIC PRIME Looks Awesome
Sonic Prime is an upcoming 3D animated TV series for Netflix based on everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog. Recently, Tails’ Channel shared some artwork that is supposedly concept art for the series.
The team found the art on ArtStation, but all of it has since been pulled down. If these images are to be believed, fans can expect Sonic to meet Amy in a savage world, Tails in a futuristic world, and defeat Dr. Eggman. The art looks great, but unfortunately, concept art never really tells us much about what the final product will look like. Also, due to the nature of this information, I am treating it as a rumor and it should be taken with a grain of salt. I freaking love this art, though, and hope that the show is similar.
The 24-episode animated adventure for kids, families, and long-time fans draws upon the keystones of the brand and features the “Blue Blur” of video game fame in a high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new multiverse rests in his gloved hands. Sonic’s adventure is about more than a race to save the universe, it’s a journey of self-discovery and redemption.
Sonic Prime is set to premiere in 2022 with 24 episodes.
