Red-Band Trailer for Simon Pegg's Dark Comedy KILL ME THREE TIMES
Simon Pegg takes on his darkest role yet in the upcoming dark comedy Kill Me Three Times. Pegg plays a ruthless assassin in the movie, who is hired to kill the wife of a rich man. More people with their own agendas end up getting involved with the situation, and it turns into a clusterf**k. This looks more like a thriller to me than a comedy, but it looks like a solid flick that I'll definitely check out.
The film was directed by Kriv Stenders, and produced by Laurence Malkin and Share Stallings, which is the team behind Death at a Funeral and A Few Best Men. Here's the synopsis:
Pegg plays the mercurial assassin, Charlie Wolfe, who discovers he isn’t the only person trying to kill the siren of a sun drenched surfing town (Alice Braga). Charlie quickly finds himself at the center of three tales of murder, mayhem, blackmail and revenge. With an original screenplay by James McFarland, the film also stars Sullivan Stapleton (as a gambling addict that attempts to pay off his debts through a risky life insurance scam), Teresa Palmer (as a small town Lady Macbeth), Callan Mulvey (as a wealthy beach club owner simmering with jealousy), Luke Hemsworth (as a local surfer fighting for the woman he loves) and Bryan Brown (as a corrupt cop who demands the juiciest cut).
Kill Me There Times will be available on iTunes/On Demand on March 26th and will hit theaters on April 10th.
