Release Dates For PREDATOR 4 and ALIEN: COVENANT; GAMBIT Removed From Schedule

20th Century Fox has updated their upcoming release schedule for a few of their high-profile movies that include the new Predator film, Alien: Covenant, Gambit, and more.

They've announced that their fourth Predator film will be released on March 2nd, 2018. Earlier this month, we got a teaser poster for this movie that offered us a possible title, The Predator. The script for the movie was written by Shane Black (Iron Man 3) and Fred Dekker, and Black is also expected to direct the film. For more news and info on the film, click here.

The studio also moved the release date of Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant up from October 6th, 2017 to August 4th, 2017. They obviously wanted to take advantage of the summer release window. As of right now, Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, and Danny McBride. For more info and news on Alien: Covenant, click here.

Fox also revealed that they have removed director Doug Liman and Channing Tatum's Gambit from their release schedule. The movie is still being made, there's just no release date yet. At the same time Fox announced the release dates of two other untitled Marvel projects. One is set for release on October 6th, 2017, and the second is set for January 12th, 2018. We'll just have to wait and see what movies end up filling those release dates. For more info on Gambit, click here.
