Ryan Reynolds To Star in Sam Raimi's Sci-Fi Adventure Film BERMUDA TRIANGLE

Ryan Reynolds has landed the lead role in director Sam Raimi's upcoming sci-fi adventure film Bermuda Triangle. It's been about a year since we've had an update on this project, but it looks like Raimi is getting ready to move forward with it.

The news comes from That Hashtag Show and they also offered the following plot details:

When a massive submarine carry nuclear weapons goes missing in the Bermuda Triangle, Commander Vogel enlists the help of Dr. Fisk a theoretical physicist, who while using his grandfather’s research opens a wormhole to reveal a mysterious island that is inhabited by anything lost in the triangle including Sharks, Vikings, and Nazis, in the hopes of finding the nuclear weapons.

Reynolds is most likely going to take on the role of Dr. Fisk, as the production team is looking to cast a woman in the role of Commander Vogel, who is the first female commander of a nuclear submarine.

The film will begin shooting this September, and Raimi will direct from a script by John Gatniss who wrote last years Power Rangers film.
