The fifth season of Samurai Jack will begin March 11th on Adult Swim! Polygon says the fifth season will be 10 episodes wrapping up the popular series that aired on Cartoon Network in the 2000s. For those who haven't been following the development, the series will be notably more gory and adult themed than the original run of the series.

I'm very excited to see the conclusion of the series, but the angry geek inside me is screaming and asking why we only get 10 more episodes! I guess we should just be happy with what we're getting. I'm hoping Adult Swim starts running the original series leading up to the new season so we can catch up! It's been so long since I've seen an episode!

Let's hope that the series doesn't lose too much of its humor in the switch to an older audience. The series will be running Saturday nights on Toonami alongside Dragon Ball Super.
