See Which FINDING DORY Character Has Been Hiding For Years in Pixar Movies
As a true Pixar fan I’ve always enjoyed their hidden Easter Eggs: characters from previous movies disguised in another animated movie, the number 95, “A113” references, the Pizza Planet truck, and many more. Whenever I watch a Pixar production, I try to find as many film references as possible. Sometimes it’s even more entertaining than following the storyline itself.
To my surprise, Disney released a new video (on April Fools' Day...hmm, I wonder what that means?) revealing that there has been one particular character who is said to be the ultimate Pixar Easter Egg! Finding Dory’s camouflaging septopus Hank has appeared in a ton of their films, going all the way back to the first Pixar movie – Toy Story – in 1995.
Director Andrew Stanton says:
“… Until now, Hank has been our most closely guarded secret. There are even people internally at Pixar who don’t know about this.”
Stanton also points out that the appearance of Hank has been kept a secret for more than two and a half decades. Are you curious to see this character in previous animated movies already? Watch the video below!
