Series of Portraits Made up of Thousands of Triangles

Artist Simon Delart took an interesting route when crafting this series of portraits that feature characters from the Justice League, Star Wars, and, holding it down for the half-human robots, RoboCop. The artist focused only on the mid-section of each character for their portraits which are made up of thousands of triangles. We’ve featured Simon’s geometrical designs before, but I believe this is the first time that he’s numbered the amount of triangles he used to create each piece. I'm wondering, did he sit there and count those things??? That would be very tedious and time consuming work. That may explain why he didn’t bother numbering the amount of triangles used for the most recent set of portraits featuring the Justice League. I’ve included the numbers he did provide below the portrait. If you want to help Simon out, feel free to count the triangles on the JLA pieces. I’m sure he’d appreciate it.
