Shane Black's THE PREDATOR Enlists GAME OF THRONES Star Alfie Allen

It's only been a couple of days since The Predator co-writer/director Shane Black revealed the first photo of his cast suited up and ready to fight the alien badass(es), but there's already a new kid in school: Alfie Allen, who you'll know as Theon Greyjoy from Game of Thrones or that idiot who killed John Wick's dog in John Wick.

THR says Allen "will play an ex-Marine who teams with several other outsiders, including one played by [Logan star Boyd] Holbrook, to stop the human-hunting creatures in a setting that hasn’t yet been seen in a Predator movie: suburbia."

As far as I can tell, there's been a little controversy about whether the movie will actually take place in suburbia, so either THR's sources are outdated or the controversy has been resolved and the movie is now definitively set in that location. We'll have to wait and see, but regardless, Allen (who seems a little scrawny for a soldier...but what do I know) joins a talented cast that includes Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Jacob Tremblay, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, and Olivia Munn.

Filming for The Predator is underway, and it's set for release on February 9, 2018.
