SHARKNADO 4 Gets an Absurd STAR WARS-Themed Title and Premiere Date

I don’t know why, but for some reason people love these stupid-ass Sharknado movies. There’s a fourth film currently in production, and it has been given groan-worthy Star Wars-inspired title. The film is called Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, and according to TV Line it will premiere on Sunday, July 31sh. I’m sure fans of this franchise will love the title.

The two-hour original movie will pick up five years after last summer’s Oh Hell No! three-quel, with Ian Ziering’s Fin enjoying a sharknado-free existence… until the natural disasters begin cropping up in expected places.

Tara Reid will return to the franchise to reveal the outcome of the #AprilLives or #AprilDies social campaign. Sharknado 3 stars David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman will also be back for more action. Some of the new cast members for The 4th Awakens include Gary Busey as April’s dad, Cheryl Tiegs as Fin’s mom, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, and Masiela Lusha.

I couldn’t even get through the first Sharknado film, and I haven’t even attempted to watch the others. Obviously, I’m not a big fan of the franchise. But if you are a fan... rock on!
