Sinister Trailer For Horror Film THE GALLOWS
A full trailer has been released for an upcoming new horror film called The Gallows. The movie is apparently supposed to be incredibly scary. As a fan of the horror genre, it looks like it could be a fun flick regardless of the fact that it's a found-footage style film.
The film is set in a high school twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, when "students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone."
The movie was an independent production by filmmakers Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff. They funded the movie through local investors and shot it on their own terms, and it was picked up by Blumhouse Pictures, who is the production company behind the Paranormal Activity films and the Insidious franchise.
The film will be released in theaters by New Line Cinema on July 10th. Thanks to MTV for the trailer.
