Sketches from Artist Mayumi Nose

Mayumi Nose has been posting sketches to her Tumblr and Instagram for the last few years. Nose is a story revisionist on The Croods at Dreamworks TV and worked as a character designer on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I love the texture and rawness of sketches, and these pieces by Nose are very exceptional. I really like Nose's fluid lines and use of color. The varying stoke weights looks particularly good on things like hair. These are just a few pieces. I highly recommend checking out the rest of her portfolio.
