Stan Lee Says DC Can Use Him for Film Cameos and as a Writer If They Want

It's always fun to see what Stan Lee's cameos in the Marvel films will end up being. It's always a great surprise. Could you imagine the Marvel Comics legend showing up in a DCEU film? He can! In fact, during a Q&A panel this weekend at Fan Expo 2016, Lee said that DC can use him if they want. When asked if he would ever consider doing cameos in other projects, Lee said:

"I can't make out what he said, but it sounded like it came from the heart. I want to do more cameos also, I've even let people know it doesn't have to be a Marvel movie, I don't know why DC hasn't called me. They could use me!"

I doubt Lee will ever show up as a cameo in a DCEU film like Justice League or The Flash, but that would be a big crazy surprise if he did!

At another point during the Q&A a kid wearing a Suicide Squad t-shirt got up and asked Lee how he thought he could make DC a hit with critics? The question was followed by applause, and Lee offered this simple yet confident reply:

"Let me write it."

I'm sure he's just being playful with his answer, but do you think Lee could really help the DCEU? With the kind of scores of that Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad have received on Rotten Tomatoes (49%, 23%, and 19%, respectively), some DC film haters might think Lee helping out with some writing on the films couldn't hurt.

One thing you should know, though, is that Lee never wrote a film that was actually produced. He just laid the groundwork for all of the Marvel Comic movies that are being made today. He did write a live-action Spider-Man movie in the '90s that was never made. I don't know if it was any good or not, though.
