STAR WARS: Full Scale R2-D2 Remote Control Fridge

Have you ever wanted to own a full scale R2-D2 from Star Wars? What about one that is also remote control? Haier Asia’s AQUA brand is making exactly that and, as far as I can tell, is making the first mass produced remote control scale replicas. Here is the crazy part: AQUA is a line of refrigerators, so R2-D2 is also a mini fridge.

R2-D2 has working lights, sounds, and a swiveling head. I'm sure hoping that he has a big battery to be able to move around and keep your drinks cool. From what I've read, it's more of a cool box due to it's low powered compressor. No price has been announced, but it's coming sometime in 2016. Time to start saving up because this thing is going to be pricy.
