STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Is Coming to Comic-Con!

Marvel may be ditching San Diego Comic-Con this year, but Lucasfilm isn't going to miss out on the opportunity to bring Star Wars: The Force Awakens to the event! This is huge news for fans! I seriously didn't think that they would come, especially with Disney's D23 Expo taking place the following month.

According to the announcement, Disney will present a special look at the film in Hall H on Friday, July 10th. Director J.J. Abrams, producer Kathleen Kennedy, and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan are expected to take the stage with a group of "special guests," which could be anyone. But wouldn't it be awesome if Harrison Ford showed up!?

On top of the Hall H panel, Disney and Lucasfilm will host several other Star Wars-related events that fans might want to join in on. Those include Hasbro’s in-depth look at the popular Star Wars toy line, as well as a 40th anniversary panel for special effects house ILM.

There's no word on what they will show, but I imagine we'll get another teaser trailer, or maybe even some clips from the movie, which would be amazing! Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters December 18th!
