STAR WARS Will Embark on an Oceanic Adventure with Disney Cruise Lines
I've never been on a cruise. There's just something about being trapped on a boat in the middle of the ocean for several days with hundreds of people that doesn't appeal to me. Maybe one day I'll give it a try, and if I do, it will have to be Disney Cruise Lines new Star Wars Day at Sea.
Darth Vader, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, and other characters will be taking a break from cruising the galaxy to cruise the ocean. According to to EW:
Star Wars-related activities include a Jedi Training Academy, meet-and-greets, a night club that will make clubgoers feel like “they stepped into the Mos Eisley cantina scene,” and—because this is a cruise, after all—screenings ofStar Wars films as well as Star Wars Rebels.
The Star Wars event will begin in 2016 on select dates January through April. It will only be a part of the Disney Fantasy cruise ship, on select Western Caribbean sailings. Would you be down to take a Star Wars cruise?
