Steven Seagal is Back in Action in the Trailer For His New Action Thriller CARTELS

The last thing I heard about Steven Seagal was that he was an actual Sheriff in New Mexico. It seems like it's been forever since I've heard of him doing a movie, but today we've got a trailer for a terrible-looking new action thriller that he's starring in called Cartels. I've gotta be honest... Seagal did not age well, at the same time, he looks like he's a guy I wouldn't want to mess with. After watching the trailer, for some reason, I thought that Seagal needs to play an action hero Santa Clause in his next movie. That's something I'd watch!

Action legend Steven Seagal headlines this explosive thriller that pits U.S. forces against an Eastern European drug cartel. When crime boss Salazar turns informant, U.S. Marshal Jensen (Luke Goss, Blade II) and his team must guard their luxury-hotel safe house. But as cartel underboss Sinclaire (UFC fighter Georges St. Pierre) and his hit squads descend to murder Salazar, the situation explodes, enraging Agent Harrison (Seagal), who will stop at nothing to root out the mole that compromised the operation.

Lionsgate is set to release the film on July 7th. I'm sorry, but I'll be busy watching Spider-Man: Homecoming
