Supercut: The Bloodiest Moments in Quentin Tarantino Movies
As Quentin Tarantino continues production on his new film The Hateful Eight (see some new photos here), editor Jacob T. Swinney is back with another entry in his video series exploring different aspects of the writer/director's work. This time he's concentrating on the bloody moments from everything from Reservoir Dogs to Django Unchained, and seeing all of these shots back-to-back shows how much the filmmaker loves utilizing blood in his storytelling.
Out of all of the trademarks that define Tarantino's style, the filmmaker may be most recognized for his gratuitous use of blood and violence. The excessive bloodshed often seems to serve as a tribute of sorts to a style or genre of filmmaking (Japanese cinema, Westerns, etc.), but according to Mr. Tarantino himself, he indulges in the red liquid simply because "it's so much fun" (see end of video). Here is a look at some of Quentin Tarantino's bloodiest moments.
