Supercut: The Driving Shots of Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino has lived in Los Angeles since he was a little kid, and as many people in L.A. can tell you, you can sometimes spend as much time in your car as you do in your house. With the old adage of "write what you know" in mind, it makes sense that QT would incorporate scenes that take place in cars into his filmography. Editor Jacob T. Swinney has put together a supercut (via Sploid) of all of the driving sequences from Tarantino's films, including everything from the breakneck car chases of Death Proof to the leisurely carriage rides in Django Unchained. It makes me want to hit the open road myself, and that last clip is also a nice reminder of gun safety courtesy of Vincent Vega. (NSFW for language.)
