Supercut: Wild POV Shots From The MAD MAX Films

One of the things people are raving about the most in Mad Max: Fury Road is director George Miller's use of practical effects and locations. There is CG in the movie, yes — they didn't actually drive into a massive lightning-infused sandstorm — but a majority of the action was shot with real actors on real vehicles out in the desert (check out some behind-the-scenes footage here).

Miller has been doing this for years in his Mad Max movies, and now editor Rishi Kaneria (via Sploid) has cut together a supercut of all of the POV shots from the earlier films. If you've never seen the original movies, maybe this will be enough to convince you to go check them out. It also gives me the idea that maybe Quentin Tarantino borrowed his famous "trunk shot" from Miller, since you can see one or two of those kinds of shots on display here.
