TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Super Bowl Spot Offers First Look at Krang

In case you missed it yesterday, the Super Bowl spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows has been released online. It's loaded with lots of wild new action-packed footage, and it also offers us our first look at the villain Krang. It looks like they actually stayed pretty close to the source material this time around, which is surprising. Does it mean I'm excited for the movie? No. The first film was just so damn terrible. Maybe this sequel will be better, though. I'll just proceed with caution. I know a lot of people are surprisingly excited for this movie. I wasn't expecting that.

Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, and Noel Fisher will reprise their roles as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. Johnny Knoxville is providing the voice of Leonardo again. The movie also sees the return of Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. Some of the newcomers include Tyler Perry as scientist Baxter Stockman, WWE Star Sheamus as Rocksteady, Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, and Brian Tee as Shredder.

The movie was directed by Earth to Echo‘s David Green, and it will be released on June 3rd, 2016.

Watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows big game spot. #TMNT2 comes to theatres and Real D 3D June 3rd.
