We’ve all heard of being starstruck, but I don’t know why people don’t ever say propstruck. Often actors do such a great job of transforming themselves into larger than life characters that when you meet some of them, you’re instantly reminded that they are just regular people who played a role. However, movie props, functional or not, tend to look as advertised, and can trigger a greater sense of awe and wonder. Every time I see a DeLorean, even stock ones that haven’t been modded with Back to the Future paraphernalia, the kid in me goes a bit giddy.
