The Thrilling First 5 Minutes of GHOST IN THE SHELL Have Been Released Online
Yesterday we posted an action-packed clip from Ghost in the Shell featuring the iconic water fight sequence. Today we have a new thrilling clip from the film featuring the first five minutes of the film in which The Major (Scarlett Johansson) jumps into action to take out a lethal mob and some creepy Robo-Geishas that end up crashing a meeting.
As you'll see, the filmmakers put their big budget to work in the creation of this film because it's visually awesome! I've been impressed with everything I've seen from the movie so far. Hopefully, the stunning visuals are matched with a great story.
Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
Rupert Sanders is directing the film, which also stars Michael Pitt, Juliette Binoche, “Beat” Takeshi Kitano, Michael Wincott, and Pilou Asbæk. The movie is set for release on March 31, 2017.
