The Science Behind DOCTOR WHO's Sonic Screwdriver
The Nerdist has released a new episode of Because Science with host Kyle Hill. It focuses on the science behind the famous sonic screwdriver from Doctor Who, and whether or not it could be created in real life. In the process he explains the basics of acoustic levitation and rotational momentum as the primary forces necessary to make it work. Now I want to see him explain the science behind the TARDIS.
