THE SHINING Gets a Creepy New Trailer For Its Theatrical Re-Release

If you're a fan of Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining, you'll be happy to hear that there's going to be a theatrical re-release of the film in the UK by BFI which will hopefully be followed by a U.S. release. The entire 144-minute version of the film has been digitally restored for a screening to take place around Halloween. It's explained that this version of the film is "24 minutes longer than the European version previously seen."

The new trailer that was cut is pretty freakin' great and it makes me want to watch the movie again. I have never seen The Shining on the big screen, but I would really love to have the opportunity to see it one day in a movie theater. Hopefully, that happens with this newly restored version of the film.
