The SUICIDE SQUAD Assembles in Photo from Director David Ayer
Writer and director David Ayer has released a photo of his Suicide Squad team of actors gathered for a read through of the script. The photo features Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo), Karen Fukuhara (Plastique), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), and a couple others. The only main actor who isn’t there is Jared Leto (Joker).
One of the most recent rumors regarding the movie is that it might be set between Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is set to be released five months before Suicide Squad. The reason for this is that it would help set up the relationship between Batman and the Joker. There's no word on if this is true or not, but it would make sense if it was.
I can't wait to see them all decked out in their costumes! Production on the film starts soon, and it is scheduled for release on August 5th, 2016.
