There's a Mass Suicide Epidemic in New Trailer for the Netflix Thriller THE DISCOVERY

Netflix has released a new trailer for their upcoming intense thriller The Discovery. The story is set in a world where the afterlife that has been 100% proven to exist. This starts a disturbing suicide epidemic with millions of people killing themselves to get to the next plane of existence. This trailer offers some new footage from the film and even teases some of the twists and turns of the story.

I had the opportunity to see the film at Sundance, and I thought it was great! I'll have a review up on the site in the near future. But I will say that I was completely immersed in the story and invested in the characters that we are introduced to. I also thought the film's concept of what happens after you die was interesting. It definitely went in a direction I wasn't expecting.

The film was directed Charlie McDowell and has a fantastic cast that includes Jason Segel, Rooney Mara, Robert Redford, Jesse Plemons, and Riley Keough. The film will be released on Netflix on March 31st, and it's definitely worth checking out.

One year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified, millions around the world have ended their own lives in order to "get there". A man and woman fall in love while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts and the true nature of the afterlife.
