This SUICIDE SQUAD Set Photo Hints at Harley Quinn's Origin Story

By now, it's pretty clear that David Ayer's Suicide Squad is going to be a much different movie than anything in the nascent DC Cinematic Universe thus far. One of the highlights of the film looks to be Margot Robbie's performance as Harley Quinn, which will be the first time that character has been portrayed in a live action movie. Joey already pointed out that the outline of how Harley goes from Dr. Harleen Quinzel to a Joker-loving psychopath appears to be evident in the trailer, but now we have another little hint that might clear things up for fans wondering which specific origin story we'll see in the movie.

BirthMoviesDeath points us to a Instagram photo from the set of Suicide Squad taken by Ingrid Kleinig, Robbie's stunt double. The picture (and the entire account) were quickly deleted, but take a look at the name of the company seen here:

Ace Chemicals is the spot where the Joker essentially becomes the Joker in some of the comics, and it's also where Joker does the same thing to Harley in the Suicide Squad comics, putting her in the same vats that drove him insane. There's a lot of love out there for the Harley Quinn character right now, but depending on how graphic Ayer gets with this movie and how the script handles Quinzel's traumatic conversion, there's the possibility that a lot of people are going to have some big problems with the way this film treats women...and depending on the depiction, they may have a point. We'll find out on August 5th, 2016.
