Thrilling Super Bowl Spot for the Sci-Fi Film LIFE with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal

Sony Pictures has released an intense Super Bowl spot for their sci-fi space thriller Life. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Rebecca Ferguson as they are put in a nightmarish situation where they have to fight for their lives while on board a space station after discovering life on Mars.

The trailer offers up some exciting new footage that did its job of getting me more excited for the film. The movie comes from Safe House director Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay written by Deadpool and Zombieland screenwriters of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Their involvement along with the cast of the film tells me there's a good chance that this movie could be a great flick.

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

The supporting cast also includes Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), Ariyon Bakare (New Blood), and Olga Dihovichnaya (Twilight Portrait). Life is set to open in theaters on March 24, 2017. Enjoy the trailers!
