Cinefix is known mostly for their cinematic recreations, whether it be in the form of their 8-bit Cinema series or their shot-for-shot sweded trailers and clips, but they can also educate as well. Their video list of the "Top 10 Makeup Transformations of All Time" is more of a crash course in movie makeup throughout history, rather than a balanced list that paid respect to different genres. I say that because big sci-fi and fantasy franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings were left completely off the list, as were many game changing horror designs. Even if you don’t fully agree with their list, you’ll still marvel at the work and thought process that went into aging, disfiguring, and gender swapping these actors in order to enhance their performances and allow them to disappear into their characters.
