Trailer for Denzel Washington's Vigilante Film THE EQUALIZER
Columbia Pictures has released the first trailer for Denzel Washington's vigilante movie, The Equalizer. The actor reunited with Training Day director Antoine Fuqua to bring this story, which is based on the 1980s TV series of the same name, to the screen. Washington plays a badass character named Robert McCall, who helps a young woman, played by Chloe Moretz, gain her freedom. He brings down the entire Russian mob in the process. This looks like it will be a great action thriller.
In The Equalizer, Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall’s desire for justice is reawakened. If someone has a problem, the odds are stacked against them, and they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The Equalizer.
The film also stars Melissa Leo, Martin Csokas, and Bill Pullman. It will be released in theaters on September 26th.
