I won't lie… Eric Bana's new horror thriller Deliver Us From Evil looks pretty damn good! The film comes to us from Sinister director Scott Derrickson, and it looks like he's going to give horror fans a great flick to watch. The first trailer for the film was released online, and obviously, I like what I see. The story follows an unlikely cop-priest duo who deal with demonic possession. I kind of like how the trailer was cut, as it's not really a conventional trailer. You'll see what I mean when you watch it.
In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramírez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city. Inspired by the book, which details Sarchie’s bone-chilling real-life cases.
The movie is set to be released on July 2nd.
