Younger viewers may not remember or maybe have never really seen his work, but Chris Farley was one of the greatest cast members in Saturday Night Live's 40 year history. His willingness to put his body on the line for physical comedy (best embodied in that famous Chippendale's sketch opposite Patrick Swayze) was extraordinary, and the world lost a great talent when he died of a drug overdose in 1997.
I Am Chris Farley is a new documentary that explores some of the comedian's life, from his rise to fame to the perils that came along with it. It features interviews with his co-stars Adam Sandler, David Spade, Bob Odenkirk, and even his brother Kevin, and it looks like a powerful and moving tribute to one of the comedy world's most larger-than-life talents.
