Trailer for Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac's Thriller A MOST VIOLENT YEAR
A trailer has been released for Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac's upcoming thriller A Most Violent Year. The film looks great, which isn't surprising as it has a talented cast and was directed by Oscar nominee J.C. Chandor (Margin Call, All is Lost). The movie looks like a total downer, but sometimes watching a movie like that is what a person needs.
The film is set in New York City during the winter of 1981, which is statistically one of the most violent years in the city’s history. The story "follows the lives of an immigrant (Oscar Isaac) and his family trying to expand their business and capitalize on opportunities as the rampant violence, decay, and corruption of the day drag them in and threaten to destroy all they have built."
The movie hits theaters on December 31st, 2014.
