Trailer for J.J. Abrams' Mysterious Film Project 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE
I watched Michael Bay's 13 Hours last night and saw a trailer for a new mysterious new J.J. Abrams produced film called 10 Cloverfield Lane. This, my friends, is a sequel to the 2008 movie Cloverfield, only it looks a hell of a lot more intriguing. The news was offically confirmed by Abrams himself. He told Collider:
“The idea came up a long time ago during production. We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield. The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible.”
The movie was directed by short film director Dan Trachtenberg, and it has a great cast that includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher, Jr. In an interview with the outlet, Winstead offered some information on the film, explaining that her character wakes up in a cellar where she’s being kept by a stranger, played by Goodman.
“He tells me that basically the world is over outside because there’s been a nuclear fall-out... you don’t know who’s telling the truth or who to believe. There’s a lot of, who’s manipulating who, and all of that. Tonally, it’s very different, but it has some of those same themes.”
There are still a lot of mysteries surrounding the movie, but I loved what I saw in this trailer, and I was completely drawn in. The movie is set to be released on March 11th, 2016. I think you're going to enjoy this. It looks intense as hell!
