Turtle Power by Matt Feguson

Artist Matt Ferguson has an incredible knack for silhouettes and cityscapes. We’ve featured countless creations from Feguson over the years, but a couple of his recent pieces really attest to those two strengths — his Doctor Who Silhouette Art Series and Batwing Poster. 

This new poster, titled "Turtle Power," also puts those skills on display. To me, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Shredder are more backlit than in silhouette (though some would argue that those are the same thing).

The piece is part of the joint art show, “INFLUENCES,” which Ferguson is doing with Marko Manev. The show opens February 28th, 2014 at Bottleneck Gallery.
