Two Trailers for Josh Brolin's Dramatic Thriller LABOR DAY

We've got two trailers for the Jason Reitman directed dramatic thriller, Labor Day, to share with you today. Reitman in the guy who brought us films such as Juno and Up In The Air, and this new film of his looks fantastic! It's definitely different from any of the other films that he's worked on so far, as it's more of a dark and twisted story. The movie has received great reviews, and it looks like the acting is going to be incredible. I really like what I see from the film so far.

The story follows a depressed single mother played by Kate Winslet, "who along with her young teenage son Henry (Gattlin Griffith) have their lives changed forever when they offer a wounded man (Josh Brolin) a ride. The man turns out to be an escaped convict, who takes the family hostage during Labor Day weekend."

The film also stars Gattlin Griffith, Tobey Maguire, Clark Gregg, JK Simmons, Brooke Smith, and James Van Der Beek. The film gets a limited release on December 25th, and then goes wide on January 31st, 2014.

The Internet only trailer comes from /Film, and the theatrical trailer comes from Moviefone. You can check them out below!

LABOR DAY centers on 13-year-old Henry Wheeler, who struggles to be the man of his house and care for his reclusive mother Adele while confronting all the pangs of adolescence. On a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother encounter Frank Chambers, a man both intimidating and clearly in need of help, who convinces them to take him into their home and later is revealed to be an escaped convict.
